PRINTED GREETING CARD

A friend of mine and her husband just started their own business – a toast & coffee-to-go shop.
Me and my friend decided to give a present with the printed card on the opening day.

I was at a summer music festival with a friend, and there was a time we talked about Scandinavian things (like hygge, fika, and midsommar). By the next day I found out my brush pen got frayed -
so I played around by writing some words, it gives nice rough accent as the result.

In 2017, I had a chance to visit Japan in two weeks. I was told by a family relative, who also join the trip that
it is going to be the beginning of autumn and get ready for cool weather, so I decided to pack more
sweaters and outerwears.
​
It turned out it was still hot, humid summer and all I had: autumn clothes for two weeks.
​
There were some days I was truly miffed, and if I could see myself, I might look like this:

I admire Roaring Twenties era a lot, and what caught my attention is the way they called alcohol
(in a slang way: giggle water). I created this during my term break, and since I use a lot of bright colours for
personal works, I challenged myself if only black and white colour allowed (inspired by silent films).

After I finished my college study, I went to Ho Chi Minh City for the first time, on my own.
Lotus as an icon of the country (in art, architecture and design). Besides - it is considered as the national flower.
I captured the city's charm and created the illustration shortly after the trip.
​
I also used the process to get more familiar with the digital design software.
